Relational Therapy

Very few of us received helpful examples of how to be in a healthy relationship. Holding onto ourselves and our ideal partnership while navigating challenges can be difficult. The minor frustrations of daily life can build up and erode our connection until it feels seemingly impossible to come back together joyfully. A major event that can feel like it’s blowing the relationship apart, and getting back to a semblance of a relationship feels impossible. My approach is systemic to ensure that the individuals in every relationship I work with feel heard while working toward a resolution.

Specific relational concerns I work with are;

  • Conflict

  • Communication

  • Infidelity

  • Emotional intimacy

  • Sexual Intimacy

  • Co-parenting

  • Money

  • Considering separation or divorce

  • Navigating opening the relationship for polyamory or other configurations

  • Adult sibling relationships

  • Friendships

Individual Therapy

Sometimes the noise of the world can find its way in and impact how we view ourselves. It can feel like a shit storm with no clear path through. Navigating this can be overwhelming and make us feel like we’ve lost who we are. Individual therapy is a great way to get more in tune with yourself.

I work with adult individuals who are struggling with a variety of experiences such as;

  • Anxiety

  • Trauma

  • Perfectionism

  • People Pleasing

  • Challenges in relationships; romantic, family, friendships, and coworkers

  • Difficulty with confidence and standing up for themselves

  • Experiencing a change in their life, such as a divorce or break up, a geographical move, a career change, or a new child.

  • Negative body image

  • Stressful relationship with food

  • Exploring sexuality and seeking a more fulfilling sex life
